Reivers Wholesale Ltd (pronounced Reevers) was brought into being by Nigel and Deborah Dearden in the autumn of 1992.

Nigel was a former motorcycle dealer from Manchester, before moving into the wholesale side of the industry. Working 1st for Rickman Engineering and then Bickers Ltd, where he became the UK sales manager.

Having been made redundant twice he decided he would form his own “trade only” wholesale company so that wouldn’t happen again!

Franchises for leading brand product were obtained, a territory mapped out and a business plan prepared to satisfy the banks that this would indeed work, started calling on dealers in the Northwest, Northeast and Scotland.

Working from his base in Cumbria Nigel was known for his product knowledge, reliability and honesty within the trade from his experiences from both trade and retail. Which quickly established the company in the eyes of the dealers.

Now in 2023 after 31 years running Reivers and aged 70, he has handed the task over to the new owner Nick Long. Deborah breathed a sigh of relief.
With a degree in Motorcycle Engineering and a passion to save the independent small business. Nick bought the business after being a customer for 20 years, as he saw the potential and his knowledge of bikes meant he could continue to grow the business.

Now based in Pontyclun South Wales. We have just launched our new trade website created specifically for B2B customers; we tailor pricing, shipping, and account support to businesses—making order management straightforward and cost-effective.
